Intellikids Academy (“we”, “us”) provides live online tutoring to students in Grades 3–12. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Information we collect
When you book a free class or enrol, we collect:
- The parent or guardian's name, email address and (optionally) phone number
- The student's first name, grade level, subject of interest and time zone
- Anything you choose to write in a message field
- Basic technical information from your visit — IP address, browser type, pages viewed — collected through cookies and analytics
During lessons we may also hold class recordings, homework submitted by the student, and progress notes written by the teacher.
Children's information
We collect a student's information only through their parent or guardian. Our booking forms are intended to be completed by an adult. We ask for a student's first name only — never a full name, home address, school name or date of birth.
If you believe a child has given us information without a parent's involvement, email hello@intellikidsacademy.com and we will delete it.
If we enrol children under 13 who live in the United States, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) applies to us. CONFIRM YOUR COPPA OBLIGATIONS AND VERIFIABLE PARENTAL CONSENT PROCESS WITH A QUALIFIED ADVISER BEFORE ENROLLING US STUDENTS UNDER 13.
How we use it
- To contact you about the class you asked for and to schedule it
- To deliver lessons, assign a teacher and track your child's progress
- To take payment for classes you buy
- To answer your questions and provide support
- To measure which advertising brought families to us, so we don't waste money on ads that don't work
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Class recordings
Lessons are recorded so that parents can review them and so we can check teaching quality. Recordings are stored for NUMBER months and then deleted. A parent may request a copy of any recording of their own child, or ask us not to record their child's classes at all.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as much as they need:
- Google — Firebase (data storage and login), Google Meet (live classes), Google Ads and Analytics (advertising measurement)
- PAYMENT PROVIDER NAME — to process card payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- Meta — if you reached us through a Facebook or Instagram ad, to measure that ad's performance
- Our teachers and coordinators, who see only what they need to teach your child
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where we believe a child is at risk of harm.
Where your information is stored
Our teaching team and administrators are based in India, and our data is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in SPECIFY REGION. If you are outside India, your information will be transferred to and processed in these locations. By booking a class you consent to that transfer.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that never become bookings are deleted after NUMBER months. Student records are kept while your child is enrolled and for NUMBER months afterwards, then deleted. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can email us to:
- Ask what information we hold about you or your child
- Get a copy of it
- Have it corrected if it's wrong
- Have it deleted
- Stop receiving marketing emails
Email hello@intellikidsacademy.com and we will respond within NUMBER days. We will never charge you for this or treat you differently for asking.
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another US state with a privacy law, you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Email us with the subject line “Privacy Request” to exercise them. REVIEW YOUR OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE US STATE LAWS THAT APPLY TO YOU.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies to keep you logged in, to understand how the site is used, and to measure our advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on Google Cloud with access limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your information we will tell you promptly and explain what happened.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email enrolled families.
